PERFORMING ART Activities

The purpose of performing arts club is to encourage the music and dance enthusiasts in their pursuit of this knowledge

Students learn the first steps to the world of vocal music which is Alankar and Sargam Geet.

They learn various prayer songs(English/Hindi), shlokas, regional/folk songs, patriotic songs, Hindustani vocal classical and various theme based songs.

They learn to play the harmonium starting with alankars to songs.

Students learn Sur and Taal which are the key factors of music.

They also learn Indian and western dance and are encouraged when they come up with their own choreography and creativity.
